Mechanical Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled and innovative local Mechanical Engineer to become a vital member of our engineering team. The role involves supporting the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems for technology-driven and industrial projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, reliability, and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and equipment aligned with industrial and technology project requirements.
• Produce engineering calculations, prepare specifications, technical drawings, and related documentation.
• Review, approve mechanical designs, equipment layouts, and vendor submissions.
• Participate actively in equipment selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning activities.
• Ensure projects comply with international engineering standards, codes, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Conduct technical assessments and propose mechanical solutions aimed at optimizing performance and reliability.
• Assist in preventive maintenance strategies and equipment optimization measures.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams including process, electrical, instrumentation, and project management during project execution.
• Engage in design reviews, HAZOP (Hazard and Operability) analysis, and technical discussions.
• Compile technical reports and provide engineering support throughout all phases of the projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Applicants must be local residents.
• At least 5 years of pertinent experience in mechanical engineering.
• Relevant background in industrial plants, manufacturing, energy sectors, or engineering projects.
• Familiarity with mechanical design codes, rotating and static machinery, piping layouts, and HVAC systems is advantageous.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering design software.
• Strong analytical capabilities, technical expertise, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Excellent communication proficiency and ability to work well within a team.
