About the Role

Maaloomatiia Academy is seeking an n8n Developer responsible for crafting and sustaining automated workflows, integrations, and AI-powered processes across the company. This role blends expertise in automation workflows, API integrations, and optionally Generative AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and fine-tune n8n workflows that streamline business operations.
• Create custom nodes using JavaScript or TypeScript as needed.
• Connect disparate systems through APIs including REST, GraphQL, Webhooks, and OAuth2.
• Implement automation powered by Generative AI tools like OpenAI or Azure OpenAI where appropriate.
• Collaborate with various teams to convert business needs into scalable automation pipelines.
• Guarantee that workflows are secure, reliable, and optimized for performance.
• Establish monitoring, logging, and error management within the n8n environment.
• Diagnose workflow problems and provide quick fixes.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation covering workflows, integrations, and system logic.
• Support deployment tasks, including managing cloud environments, versioning, and updates.
• Ensure all processes adhere to data protection and security standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience working with n8n or similar automation platforms such as Make or Zapier.
• Advanced programming skills in JavaScript and TypeScript for crafting custom logic and nodes.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and JSON data manipulation.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and deployment on major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Strong analytical abilities for troubleshooting complex automation issues.
• Capability to juggle multiple projects and work independently.
• Hands-on experience integrating Generative AI services including OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Google Gemini, or HuggingFace.
• Expertise in creating AI-driven automation such as text generation, summarization, classification, and chatbot workflows.
• Python programming knowledge is beneficial, especially for AI or external scripting tasks.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and GitHub.
• Experience developing custom integrations for SaaS products.

Education

A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline is required.
