Role Overview
The OGS Specialist acts as a vital link between policy formulation and frontline execution, ensuring policy objectives are consistently implemented through effective operational standards. The role oversees management of operational knowledge bases, standard operating procedures (SOPs), policy updates, and facilitates structured communication between frontline teams and policy makers, using data insights to identify and resolve execution challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate complex policy documents into clear, actionable operational workflows and decision-making frameworks for frontline teams.
- Develop, standardize, and maintain operational documentation and knowledge management systems with robust governance and version control.
- Utilize AI tools to improve quality and efficiency of policy-related documentation and operational materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Policy, Product, Quality, and Regional Operations teams to ensure alignment between policy intent and execution.
- Analyze quality metrics, escalations, and appeals to uncover operational execution gaps and enhance decision consistency.
- Manage global programs for policy and process change by assessing risks and coordinating consistent implementation across various markets.
- Incorporate regional and cultural considerations to adapt global guidelines for local operational effectiveness.
Candidate Qualifications
- Strong understanding of operational policies within the functional domain and connection to operational governance processes.
- Experience with operational workflows, quality assurance processes, or policy execution activities (focused on execution rather than design).
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional coordination between Policy, Operations, Product, or vendor teams.
- Basic analytical capabilities to structure data, identify issues, and clearly communicate insights.
- Familiarity with SOPs, process documentation, and workflow execution practices.
- Professional proficiency in English to support Singapore market operations and collaborate globally.
- Preferred: Knowledge of policy enforcement workflows and quality assurance processes.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of process improvement and operational reporting tools.
- Preferred: Experience in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments.
- Preferred: Strong attention to detail with adherence to structured guidelines and frameworks.
