Position Summary

The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the organization's daily operations, coordinating the distribution of menstrual hygiene supplies, overseeing inventory and logistics, and supporting volunteer activities. This position primarily requires 1 to 3 hours of weekly commitment, including event participation and remote duties. As an unpaid volunteer role, it offers valuable exposure to nonprofit operations and mission-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nonprofit administrative and operational functions, enhancing processes for greater efficiency and scalability.
• Coordinate the delivery of menstrual products to schools, shelters, food banks, and partner organizations.
• Manage warehouse organization, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely reordering based on community needs.
• Maintain distribution timelines and delivery logistics, tracking product flow from donation to recipients.
• Track and report key metrics including products distributed, individuals served, volunteer involvement, partnerships, event participation, and donations.
• Manage budgets related to operations, acquire vendor quotes, control expenses, and propose cost-saving measures to ensure effective use of resources.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business administration, public health, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Between 2 and 5 years of experience in operations, logistics, nonprofit management, or supply chain roles.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with a dedication to learning.
• Experience managing inventory and familiarity with CRM or donor management software are advantageous.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to travel locally when needed.
