Performance Tester

Job Location

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Experience and Responsibilities

• Possess over 4 years in Software Quality Engineering, with at least 3-4 years dedicated to Performance and Load Testing.
• Demonstrate expertise in creating and managing reusable, parameterized performance test suites from the ground up.

Technical Competencies

• Proficient with Apache JMeter, BlazeMeter, and Splunk for performance testing and monitoring.
• Strong programming or scripting skills in languages such as Java, Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
• Deep understanding of HTTP protocols, RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
• Experience performing tests on asynchronous, message-driven, or event-driven applications.
• Familiarity with monitoring and Application Performance Management (APM) tools including Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, and ELK Stack.
• In-depth knowledge of performance engineering principles: throughput, concurrency, latency, response-time percentiles, scalability, and bottleneck diagnostics.
• Capability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks related to JVM/Garbage Collection, thread and connection pools, databases, caching mechanisms, and overall application infrastructure.
• Comfortable operating in Linux/Unix environments and analyzing system-level performance metrics.
