Planning Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Planning Engineer based in Bengaluru with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our team. This position involves a vital role in ensuring projects are delivered successfully by effective planning, scheduling, and tracking progress across multiple interior fit-out assignments.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project execution schedules and baseline programs.
• Track project advancement and compare against set timelines.
• Generate progress reports daily, weekly, and monthly to keep stakeholders informed.
• Evaluate project risks, identify delays, and highlight critical path activities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement teams, and on-site staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Design recovery strategies when facing schedule delays to mitigate impact.
• Supervise manpower allocation and manage resource usage effectively.
• Prepare and present comprehensive project dashboards and updates for senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

• Experience within commercial office interiors, corporate fit-out, or hospitality projects is highly valued.
• Familiarity with fast-tracked project implementations is preferred.
• Proven abilities in Microsoft Project (mandatory) and Primavera P6 (preferred), alongside strong skills in advanced Excel, AutoCAD, and project reporting.
• Analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong coordination capabilities and the capacity to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.
