Process Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a Process Engineer for a Waterford-based company through CareerWise Recruitment on an initial 12-month contractual basis. This role demands execution of process engineering activities aligned with compliance and safety standards within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commercial manufacturing operations by delivering key performance metrics.
• Implement process engineering tasks such as cycle development protocols and reports, project improvements, deviation management, problem-solving, and change control adherence.
• Focus on the Aseptic Syringe Filling Line covering equipment like Debagger, Ebeam, Delid, Deline, Isolator, and multi-technology syringe filling machines.
• Provide engineering assistance to other areas of the PFS (Pre-Filled Syringe) process including Dispensing, Formulation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Offer technical guidance for process enhancements, introduce new product transfers to production, and support manufacturing projects.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Honours degree in an Engineering discipline is mandatory.
• Between 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience with sterile manufacturing operations is advantageous.
• Prior involvement with syringe filling technology will be considered a distinct benefit.
