The Product team at Plaid is focused on constructing a network that supports open finance, championing innovation, reliability, and customer success. As a Product Manager, you will be instrumental in crafting and guiding products that help millions connect, transfer, and manage their finances effectively. This role is ideal for an early-career PM who enjoys learning, teamwork, and producing impactful solutions that positively affect financial wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a specific product domain by identifying challenges, drafting precise requirements, and driving the delivery process alongside cross-functional teams.
• Develop and steer the product roadmap grounded in analytical data, customer feedback, and industry trends.
• Work closely with Engineering and Design teams to create intuitive and superior user experiences.
• Leverage metrics and user feedback to gauge and enhance product success.
• Communicate lucidly, coordinate stakeholder expectations, and direct decision-making processes.
• Exhibit a founder’s mindset by simplifying complexities, acting swiftly, and valuing input.
• Commit to continuous learning and contributing to raising Plaid’s product standards and corporate culture.

Qualifications

• Between 2 to 4 years of experience in product-focused roles such as Product Manager, startup operator, founder, or product analyst.
• Demonstrated success in end-to-end product development and launches.
• Proven collaboration experience with engineering and design teams to rapidly deliver value.
• Strong communication skills for clearly articulating complex concepts.
• Adaptability to thrive in dynamic and ambiguous work environments.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI applications in product workflows including prototyping, research, or analysis.
• Experience in early-stage or rapidly expanding startup settings is preferred.
• Experience within the fintech sector is a beneficial addition.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $176,400 to $226,800 annually and may include equity or commission components depending on the role. Plaid offers extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, and a 401(k) plan. Salary determination considers role scope, experience, skills, and geographic location. Benefits and pay are subject to periodic changes aligned with company policies.
