Program Manager - Commercial Leadership Learning and Development

Overview

TekWissen, a global provider of workforce management solutions based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, partners with a leading Biotech company specializing in antiviral drugs for conditions like HIV, hepatitis B and C, and influenza. This opportunity involves supporting leadership development initiatives within the Commercial teams of the client organization.

Role Summary

The Program Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and enhancing leadership development programs aimed at Commercial employees. This includes overseeing virtual and in-person training events, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring high learner engagement and leadership capability building.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate leadership programs involving multiple learning modalities, cohort engagement, and sustainment activities.
• Develop and support training content focused on communication skills, coaching, analytics, peer leadership, and overall leadership competencies.
• Coordinate with Compliance and Legal teams to guarantee training materials comply with regulatory standards.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication plans working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Handle logistical aspects of sessions, meetings, communications, and reporting.
• Monitor attendance and collect feedback and metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and identify enhancements.
• Work alongside internal trainers and external vendors to maintain project momentum and compliance with deadlines.
• Lead training sessions, planning discussions, and workshops when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA required).
• Minimum of five years' experience in training, learning & development, project management, or leadership development.
• Strong organization, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities to juggle various tasks and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency with software such as Smartsheet, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and collaboration tools for managing instructional content and program metrics.
• Self-driven and able to work both independently and as a collaborative team member without heavy oversight.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate collaboration with employees, vendors, and stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Effective verbal and written communication capabilities, including facilitation and presentation skills.
• Experience with stakeholder management, decision-making, and analytical thinking.

Preferred Experience

• Background in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
• Familiarity with Commercial or field-based leadership development programs.
• Experience managing hybrid (virtual and in-person) learning initiatives.
• Vendor and external partner management proficiency.
• Knowledge of learning metrics, dashboards, learner feedback processes, and completion reporting.
