Program Manager – Executive Education

Overview

We are looking for a Program Manager to join KLU’s Executive Education team in Hamburg. This role is critical in creating, executing, and expanding impactful learning programs for professionals. It combines hands-on program coordination with direct engagement with clients and strategic collaboration, embodying KLU's mission to develop leaders with an operations mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage executive education programs end-to-end from initial concept through post-program analysis for both open enrollment and customized formats.
• Work closely with leadership, faculty, and partners to design innovative and meaningful learning experiences.
• Oversee smooth program implementation across onsite, online, and hybrid modes, including logistics and participant and faculty support.
• Join participants at seminar locations to deliver excellent service and engagement.
• Ensure quality management throughout communication, materials, schedules, and program execution.
• Conduct thorough after-action reviews to glean insights and improve future program delivery.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, understanding their needs and helping shape program proposals alongside business development and academic leadership.
• Engage directly in client discussions as the expert on program possibilities and impact.
• Foster long-term client relationships through superior program delivery and by identifying renewal opportunities proactively.
• Support marketing efforts by crafting proposals and representing KLU at networking events.
• Manage program budgets, monitor expenses, and comply with financial policies.
• Maintain CRM and program documentation, including feedback analysis.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights.
• Stay informed on trends in executive education, logistics, and leadership to foster innovative program concepts.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in program or project management, preferably in executive education, corporate learning, consulting, or managing complex events.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively with academics, clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging senior managers, presenting concepts clearly, and understanding client needs.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail in managing timelines, budgets, and quality.
• A client-centric approach valuing dialogue as essential for designing effective programs.
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to identify needs and take initiative.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, balancing multiple programs, adapting to shifting priorities, and maintaining composure.
• Proficiency in English is required; German language skills are a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally with program participants.
• Preferred but not mandatory: background in executive education, knowledge of logistics or supply chain sectors, experience in business development or client relations, understanding of adult learning principles, familiarity with digital tools such as LMS, CRM, and project management software.
