ജോലി വിവരണം
Company overview
Our client is a specialist contractor with a strong history of delivering major renewable energy developments across Europe, including wind farms, solar schemes, battery energy storage systems, and high-voltage substation works. The organisation is known for strong technical delivery and for completing complex projects safely and reliably.
With a sizeable and expanding pipeline of renewable energy work across several European markets, the business has earned a reputation for disciplined programme management and trusted collaboration with leading developers, utilities, and client-side stakeholders. To support further growth, the company is looking to strengthen its senior delivery leadership with an experienced Project Director to take full accountability for major project delivery across Europe.
Working environment and project scope
You will be responsible for leading large, technically demanding renewable energy projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams covering engineering, construction, and commissioning. These are high-value schemes that require rigorous scheduling, commercial control, and close engagement with multiple stakeholders.
The role offers real ownership of outcomes, including programme delivery, commercial performance, client management, and overall project execution. A key part of the position is ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong communication with senior client and internal delivery teams.
Because the work spans multiple European markets, you should be comfortable operating internationally and willing to commit to long-term project involvement across a growing renewables portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end delivery of major renewable energy projects across Europe.
- Accept full accountability for programme delivery, commercial results, and overall project execution.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams spanning engineering, construction, and commissioning.
- Develop and sustain strong working relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within the approved budget.
- Spot, assess, and reduce programme, commercial, and technical risks on active projects.
- Act as a senior representative for the business with clients, developers, and delivery partners.
Candidate profile
The right candidate will have a proven background as a Project Director on large-scale renewable energy projects. Relevant experience in wind, solar, battery energy storage systems, high-voltage substations, or wider energy infrastructure is essential.
You should bring strong senior-level programme and commercial management capability, along with excellent client-handling skills and the credibility to influence high-level stakeholders. The role also requires strong leadership experience, including managing multidisciplinary teams, and a willingness to support long-term assignments across Europe.
What you will receive
This opportunity includes a highly competitive day rate of €1,300 and the chance to work on long-term projects within a growing European renewables portfolio. It also provides significant ownership of project delivery while working with a specialist contractor active at the leading edge of the sector.
