Project Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Site Engineer to support the project manager and on-site team in managing all aspects of project supervision. This role entails overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning through completion, ensuring coordination between teams and maintaining technical details. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, organizational skills, effective time management, and sound decision-making capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or comparable experience.
• Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 years of site supervision and contracting experience within the UAE.
• Proven expertise in the interior decorative glass and metal industry is essential.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledgeable about applicable regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
• Strong ability to delegate and assign tasks to site and production teams effectively.
• Exceptional leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support on-site project management and supervision to drive successful outcomes.
• Ensure project schedules are adhered to and deadlines met.
• Handle billing processes and project-related financial matters.
• Assist in planning and carrying out decorative glass projects.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations carefully.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to verify project requirements.
• Oversee installation and commissioning phases of decorative glass components.
• Conduct site inspections to confirm adherence to project plans and standards.
• Prepare thorough project documentation, access passes, and progress reports.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of glass processing and installation teams.
• Ensure projects finish on time and adhere to budgetary constraints.
• Monitor workmanship quality and compliance with specifications throughout the project.
• Provide training and leadership to installation teams.
