No two working days are alike - duties could include patrolling protected areas, maintaining facilities, trail repairs, visiting and educating park guests, safeguarding Cultural Heritage locations, protecting endangered species, performing controlled burns, managing invasive species, offering education and compliance initiatives, or rehabilitation of wildlife.

Entry Scheme Details

The OO3 Ranger Intake Scheme provides an opening for permanent or temporary ranger appointments throughout Queensland, including designated Indigenous and diverse ability roles. Key highlights include:

Important Candidate Information

• Applicants must possess a current, unrestricted manual driver’s licence (provisional licenses accepted).
• Some roles may necessitate a current Blue Card clearance.
