Job Overview and Location
This position for a Research Coordinator focused on education offers an 11-month engagement based at 1 North Buona Vista Drive, Singapore. The working schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. The monthly compensation can be up to $5,000.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee active research projects under contract, ensuring their punctual completion while maintaining high standards and continuous progress tracking with regular reports.
- Manage research administration and compliance, particularly in data governance, facilitating partnership and cooperation between educational institutions, including schools and Institutes of Higher Learning.
- Handle programme operations encompassing budget oversight, procurement activity, vendor management, and aligning all activities with governmental financial regulations.
- Establish and nurture strategic collaborations with both local and international research entities, identifying opportunities for joint research efforts and expedited research projects.
- Convert research findings into practical applications by crafting dissemination plans, developing guides for practitioners, policy briefs, and useful insights targeted at educators, policymakers, and education technology stakeholders.
- Enhance stakeholder interactions and build capacity through cross-department coordination, professional development initiatives, and by monitoring and evaluating rapid research projects in the Education Technology Division.
Qualifications and Skills
- Academic credentials in research-related fields such as educational research, sociology, or psychology, or commensurate relevant experience.
- A minimum of one year engaged in supporting or conducting research projects, preferably within education environments; experience during undergraduate studies is also acceptable.
- Excellent communication capabilities, both written and spoken, including the preparation of reports, executive briefs, and presentation documents.
