Role Overview
The Researcher I position plays a pivotal role within HireRight’s Service Delivery framework. Researchers validate candidate information according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compile findings into client-facing reports. This role encompasses both entry-level and experienced researchers and may require handling verifications in English and other languages as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct all duties with professionalism, focusing on aiding candidates to secure employment.
- Efficiently research and confirm information provided by candidates to finalize screening promptly.
- Engage with candidates courteously to request missing details or clarify information.
- Maintain consistent communication to support candidates throughout the screening process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to update clients on screening progress and resolve issues.
- Adhere to client service level agreements and adjust processes as those agreements are updated.
- Keep thorough and accurate documentation throughout the screening procedure.
- Generate precise client reports reflecting comprehensive findings in compliance with standards.
- Meet departmental quality and productivity benchmarks consistently.
- Conduct phone interactions professionally, aligning with the philosophy of assisting candidates in getting hired.
- Support team members and contribute to a cohesive work environment focused on meeting customer expectations.
- Promptly respond to requests, reports, and escalation inquiries.
- Adopt a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and actively contribute suggestions and implementations.
- Remain open to cross-training opportunities beyond the immediate scope of duties.
- Potentially mentor, train, and coach new team members within the team.
- Specifically verify education and employment elements of screenings using tools such as telephone, email, and online resources.
Qualifications
- Graduation in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in voice or blended processes, preferably in the background verification (BGV) industry.
- Proficient in professional English communication, both written and verbal, with ability to interact effectively with candidates and clients.
- Strong analytical and typing capabilities.
- A proactive, eager attitude toward learning.
- Ability to independently manage issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Skillful multitasking and prioritizing in a dynamic environment.
- Experienced in online research, MS Office applications, and professional email correspondence.
- Capability to quickly and methodically review details.
- Confidence in telephone communication, including adept probing while maintaining professional relations.
