HDR is currently looking for a dedicated Risk/Quality Manager to join their Middle East team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This key position represents the Corporate Quality Office locally and leads the implementation and stewardship of HDR's Quality Management System (QMS) within the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the local leadership representative for HDR’s Quality Office and advance the QMS culture by closely collaborating with area leadership.
• Assist Project Managers in planning and incorporating best practices into project management, quality, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate with local business group project quality managers to address project quality support and share critical lessons learned.
• Regularly update the Quality Office with QMS implementation reports, audit resolutions, and lessons learned.
• Communicate updates and directives related to the QMS and Information Lifecycle Governance (ILG) to leadership and staff.
• Develop and refine local processes that support QMS and ILG compliance, working cross-functionally to align delivery processes across business units.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive onboarding program to educate new employees about HDR’s QMS and its organizational role.
• Address staff inquiries relating to QMS policies, procedures, and quality-related concerns.
• Identify training needs and support initiatives by analyzing quality loss trends.

Required Qualifications

• Professional degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 6 years of industry experience with a minimum of 3 years in quality-related roles.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a recognized quality certification.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Quality Management System principles.
• Demonstrated expertise in staff communication, engagement, and conducting investigative interviews.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite especially PowerBI, SharePoint, and collaborative comment/review tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) consulting industries including understanding client service delivery requirements.
• Excellent leadership skills with capability to resolve conflicts and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
• A strong commitment to fostering a quality-driven culture among leadership and teams.
• High level of collaboration, self-awareness, and ability to reinforce corporate quality and risk management practices.

This full-time position is based onsite in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Transportation Planning business class. Employees are engaged regularly to deliver strong adherence to quality and risk standards in project execution.
