Scrum Master

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team remotely on a part-time basis, located in Tysons Corner, VA. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile practices to support cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality software products efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-ups, organize sprint planning sessions, and conduct retrospectives to ensure productive team collaboration.
• Collaborate with product owners to clarify requirements and prioritize the product backlog effectively.
• Support the team in meeting project timelines and budget constraints while delivering quality software solutions.
• Identify obstacles hindering team progress and work actively to remove them.
• Provide coaching to team members on Agile frameworks and promote best practices.
• Monitor and communicate team performance and progress metrics.
• Partner with other Scrum Masters to enhance Agile methodologies throughout the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Possess a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
• Minimum of three years experience serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for team facilitation.
• Demonstrated success in delivering software projects within set deadlines and budgets.
• Experience with collaborating in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
