The Seafront Service team manages and enhances the coastline facilities. The Seafront Maintenance Operative position is ideal for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual eager to contribute to maintaining these renowned coastal assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Seafront Maintenance Team with everyday operations related to seafront amenities and services.
• Perform repairs on Beach Huts, facilities, and other exterior assets.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety standards and procedures.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience working in a maintenance-related environment.
• Familiarity with health and safety policies and adherence to their protocols.
• Possession of a full and valid driving license.

Working Conditions and Terms

• This role demands full flexibility, including working five days within a seven-day week.
• Work will encompass some weekends and bank holidays to fulfill business needs.
• Annual leave cannot be taken during June, July, and August, the peak season period.
• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary and Progression

The starting annual salary is £28,598, adjusted pro rata for part-time work. All new entrants begin at the base of the pay scale, guaranteeing fairness and consistency. BCP Council supports growth within the role, offering clear career progression options.
