About the Company and Position

Rishi Jha & Associates, a Chartered Accountancy firm based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is seeking a dedicated and detail-focused professional with 1 to 3 years of experience to join their team. The firm caters to clients outside India and values strong expertise in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate bookkeeping and record all financial transactions diligently.
Prepare journal entries, ledgers, bank statements reconciliations, and other account reconciliations.
Handle accounts payable and receivable processes effectively.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial closing activities.
Ensure adherence to accounting standards and internal company policies.
Support internal and external audit functions by verifying financial documents, vouchers, and supporting paperwork.
Detect discrepancies and propose corrective measures as needed.
Prepare audit schedules and reports in compliance with statutory regulations.
Analyze financial information to generate MIS reports and monitor budget performance.
Assist in preparing forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis presentations for management.
Identify cost-saving initiatives and improve financial processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline is mandatory.
Additional qualifications such as M.Com, CA Intermediate, CMA Intermediate, or MBA in Finance are advantageous.
Profound grasp of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and tax compliance basics.
Understanding of audit procedures and internal financial controls.
Proficient in MS Excel features such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and financial reporting tools.
Experience with accounting software including Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, Oracle, or ERP systems.
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and keen attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred skills include preparing MIS reports, building financial dashboards, statutory compliance knowledge, and ability to work independently under deadlines.

Compensation and Work Environment

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and educational background, ranging between INR 20,000 and INR 30,000 per month.
