Position Overview

Currently, Jetstar seeks a Senior Compliance Analyst to join its Technology Risk and Compliance team for a 12-month maternity leave cover at its headquarters on Collins Street, Melbourne. This role supports compliance within Jetstar Technology, emphasizing governance, risk assessment, and issue management across frameworks like PCI DSS, Privacy, GDPR, and internal Technology policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing technology compliance activities aligned with business objectives.
• Assist with planning, implementing, and overseeing compliance measures, ensuring cost-efficiency.
• Evaluate and manage modifications to compliance requirements and proactively respond to emerging risks.
• Forge and maintain robust relationships with various stakeholders throughout Jetstar and Qantas group divisions.
• Collaborate with business units to plan and execute compliance tasks, clearly communicating scope and outcomes.
• Tackle emerging risks and issues related to compliance.
• Provide support during external compliance audits as part of the wider compliance team.

Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in Business, IT, or relevant practical experience in the field.
• Experience managing risk and compliance programs across diverse teams and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong orientation towards customer service and ability to cultivate effective internal and external partnerships.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills capable of working through formal and informal channels.
• Ability to conceive and implement improvement initiatives, transforming strategies into actionable plans.
• Capability to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines within collaborative team environments.
