About the Role
We are searching for a Skilled Trainer to join a public sector client’s team through Unijobs. This role initially spans 12 months with potential for extension. The successful candidate may be based in key locations including Galway, Sligo, Castlebar, Letterkenny, or Roscommon. The position follows a blended working policy requiring a minimum of four days per week onsite. Working hours total 35 per week. Employment is through an agency, with an hourly pay rate of 32.02, equating to an annual salary of approximately 58,477. Benefits include 30 days annual leave plus paid Bank Holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and customize training schedules to suit various community areas including multiple disciplines and rosters.
- Support the lead Community Care Record trainer in creating and refining all training materials and shaping training strategies for the community clinical system deployment.
- Deliver engaging and high-quality end-user training across different platforms such as classrooms, virtual settings, floorwalking, one-on-one sessions, and scenario-based learning tailored for clinical and non-clinical groups.
- Develop practical training documents like guides, quick reference sheets, eLearning content, and demonstration videos aligned with national standards and local workflow demands.
- Collaborate with project managers, solution leads, change managers, site readiness teams, and local service managers to ensure smooth training and system rollout.
- Act as the primary contact for users throughout system deployment phases, providing hands-on support during go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
- Mentor junior trainers to equip them with necessary skills to fulfill their training duties effectively.
- Understand community healthcare workflows for contextual delivery of digital solutions, identifying gaps or risks and escalating them as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with clinical safety standards, information governance policies, and promote data quality and system safety.
- Collect and utilize user feedback to continuously improve training content and overall system adoption.
- Manage typical deliverables such as training schedules, standardized materials, attendance and competency records, go-live support logs, and adoption analytics.
Experience and Skills Required
- Proven experience in training users on ICT solutions, ideally within healthcare settings.
- Strong background in managing ICT-driven change projects, ensuring successful delivery and meeting user requirements.
- Ability to thrive and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Clinical experience or direct work within clinical teams is considered a significant benefit.
Additional Information
