Role Overview

The Solutions Engineer position involves cultivating strong partnerships between the company and its customers by aligning industry requirements with customer expectations and technical possibilities. Candidates must have experience with large datasets, a capacity to quickly absorb technical knowledge, and enthusiasm for the automotive sector to contribute to business growth.

Reporting to the Dismantler Commerce team, the role offers diverse projects and significant learning opportunities. It includes hands-on responsibilities and leadership in research and development efforts aimed at enhancing the experience for a critical customer segment.

Key Responsibilities

• Master the use of Partly's inventory management system, the Partly PIM, and associated application suite to understand how buyers depend on these tools to locate the right vehicle parts.
• Design, develop, and deploy solutions centered around user needs leveraging the Partly Platform, ensuring excellent outcomes and smooth onboarding.
• Develop system integrations as required.
• Collaborate closely with the Engineering team by delivering clear requirements and guidance, supporting product testing with customers, iterating on solutions, and providing feedback for ongoing improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A degree in a STEM discipline.
• Strong written and oral communication skills capable of clearly and persuasively conveying ideas to colleagues and clients.
• Competence in data analytics using Python, Pandas, and SQL.
• Logical and methodical problem-solving approach, with interest in innovation and complex challenges.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-changing workplace, coupled with keeping abreast of industry developments and best practices.
