Job Overview

This full-time role at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), based in Greater Milwaukee, invites candidates with an accounting or finance background to transition into a special agent career. This opportunity is exempt from the federal civilian hiring freeze. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations into suspected violations of federal laws, including cybercrime and threats to public safety.

• Develop and sustain cooperative relationships with federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, and international law enforcement counterparts.
• Maintain necessary physical fitness to fulfill law enforcement responsibilities effectively.

Qualification Criteria

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Capability to obtain Top Secret Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) clearance.
• Willingness to travel as required by investigative duties.
• Compliance with the FBI’s employment eligibility prerequisites.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution; preferred fields include accounting, business administration, finance, or forensic accounting.
• Submission of verified college transcripts is required for all candidates.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $93,749 to $133,200 annually, adjusted based on base pay, locality, and availability.
