Role Summary

We are seeking a full-time Spray Painter based at our facility in Tema. The primary responsibilities involve preparing surfaces through cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming to meet project requirements and safety regulations. The role requires mixing and matching paint colors, setting up spray apparatus, and applying coatings to achieve uniform coverage, precise color match, and durable finishes. The Spray Painter must also inspect completed work, perform necessary touch-ups, and maintain tools and work areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare components and structures by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming according to project and safety standards.
• Mix and match paints and coatings to meet color accuracy requirements.
• Set up and operate spray equipment for applying finishes efficiently and safely.
• Inspect finished surfaces for quality and perform touch-ups as necessary.
• Maintain spray booths, tools, and workspaces in good order.
• Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and project deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with paint handling techniques such as mixing, thinning, and color matching.
• Expertise in painting and decorating, focusing on surface preparation and finishing methods.
• Understanding of various coatings for protective and decorative applications.
• Hands-on experience in manual and spray painting within industrial, construction, or automotive settings preferred.
• Able to comprehend and follow technical work instructions, specifications, and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and capability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Willingness to work onsite in Tema and comply with workplace health, safety, and environmental policies.
