Staff Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to join our software team in Hyderabad, India. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in building scalable software solutions and driving technical excellence on cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Role Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Bring over 15 years of professional experience in software engineering, concentrating on high-scale products and platforms.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development, alongside a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and software architecture.
• Have extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing sophisticated cloud-based solutions, with a preference for AWS, encompassing networking, security, and optimization of costs.
• Exhibit strong capabilities in building distributed systems, microservices architectures, and API development, complemented by practical knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud environments.
• Possess familiarity or practical experience with AI/ML concepts, understanding their applications for engineering challenges.
• Show mastery in DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and deployment, Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, and automated platform operations.
• Demonstrate expertise in container orchestration using EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), proficient in cluster management and inter-component communications.
• Have a comprehensive understanding of enterprise communication protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, AS2, and secure data transmission standards.
• Exhibit leadership skills by guiding technical initiatives and mentoring fellow engineers.
• Be knowledgeable in agile development frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
• Possess strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate well within teams.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE).

Compensation

The salary range offered for this position is between 5,000,000 and 7,000,000 INR per year.
