About the Role
We are seeking a Strategy Senior Manager specializing in the Resources sector based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This leadership position involves guiding strategic initiatives and consulting engagements, focusing on integrating people-centric approaches with transformation strategies to drive impactful business outcomes. The role emphasizes sustainability, inclusion, diversity and equity, and board effectiveness, supporting CEOs in navigating rapid industry change.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of strategic plans tailored for clients in the resources industry, delivering innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Establish and nurture trusted partnerships with clients, including C-suite executives, to grasp strategic objectives and provide advisory services.
- Direct, mentor, and develop teams of consultants fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Supervise entire project lifecycles ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the resources domain to expand the practice's influence and client base.
- Continuously monitor industry developments, technological trends, and market dynamics to offer thought leadership and keep clients ahead.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- At least 13 years of consulting experience, preferably with exposure to Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Chemicals, or Natural Resources sectors.
- Strong strategic decision-making capabilities with expertise in financial and operational modeling and data analysis oversight.
- Comprehensive understanding of industry forces and ways to create value within relevant sectors.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex issues and assimilate information rapidly.
- Technologically adept, with a strong interest in how digital innovations affect business and society.
- Proven leadership capable of building trustful relationships, facilitating collaboration, and communicating effectively.
- Highly driven and adaptable, with a record of overcoming obstacles to deliver results positively and optimistically.
Preferred Attributes
- Master's degree, such as an MBA, or related graduate studies.
- Experience in operating model design, strategy creation, digital transformation initiatives, beneficiary experience, impact assessments, and monitoring and evaluation processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Strong organizational capabilities and analytical acumen.
