Job Summary

The role of Supply Chain Analyst focuses on overseeing daily wave planning, generating reports, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), tracking productivity, and analyzing trends at the facility. The position also includes responsibilities such as managing the processing queue, posting receipts, and administrating safety and training records. Data for these tasks is sourced from systems including Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design efficient daily wave plans by integrating customer needs, workforce productivity, shipping schedules, and inventory flow.
• Analyze and develop reports concerning operational methods, processes, and equipment to meet current and future objectives.
• Create audit reports to verify data accuracy and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Monitor KPI trends and interpret the operational activities influencing these metrics.
• Control queue management and execute necessary system transactions for the site.
• Produce productivity reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including trend analyses.
• Maintain timely and professional communication with internal teams and external partners.
• Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee safety and training report administration, coordinating with Shift Coordinators and the Operations Manager to address missing or incomplete data.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within distribution, warehouse logistics, supply chain operations, finance, or similar data-related fields.
• BA or BS degree preferred; APICS certification is advantageous.
• Capability to integrate diverse data sources to formulate optimized work plans.
• Strong organizational acumen with attention to detail, able to multitask and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive in identifying and resolving discrepancies or potential issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in identifying and resolving problems with persistence.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with individuals across various roles.
• High analytical skills including advanced proficiency in Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and macros.
• Experience working with WMS, JDA (Red Prairie), SAP, and other ERP systems is preferred.
