Role Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist will be pivotal in managing end-to-end supply chain operations including purchasing, inventory planning, order fulfillment, and logistics. The goal is to ensure consistent product availability, operational excellence, and punctual delivery by collaborating effectively with cross-functional and regional partners. The role involves supporting continuous process enhancements, reporting, and optimization initiatives.

Key Duties

• Manage procurement of equipment, consumables, spare parts, and authorized third-party items.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand trends, and restocking activities to maintain inventory health and product accessibility.
• Assist in forecasting and monthly planning aligned with business demands.
• Liaise with regional hubs, global suppliers, and local vendors to ensure timely supplies and resolve supply issues.
• Supervise order fulfillment for local deliveries to guarantee accuracy and timely execution.
• Track open purchase orders and delivery schedules, communicating status and recovery strategies to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers for dependable freight execution.
• Oversee inbound shipments including freight management, customs clearance, and documentation compliance.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by monitoring and reconciling stock movements.
• Contribute to cross-functional reporting, operational support, and ongoing improvements in supply chain processes.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a Diploma or higher educational qualification; equivalent practical experience considered.
• Have a minimum of 2 years experience in supply chain, logistics, order management, or inventory operations.
• Prefer experience in purchasing, supply planning, freight management, and coordination across functions.
• Hands-on familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, with Microsoft Dynamics AX being advantageous.
• Strong analytical aptitude for interpreting data and managing diverse priorities.
• Comprehensive understanding of procurement, inventory control, and logistics workflows.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with effective problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, notably Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills enabling fruitful cross-functional collaboration.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
