Technical Product Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Technical Product Manager to spearhead the development of our upcoming card products, including integration with Google Pay and Apple Pay, as well as virtual and one-time use virtual cards. This position requires deep expertise in card issuing, processing, tokenization, and an understanding of the interaction among issuers, acquirers, card lifecycle management, e-commerce payments, and 3-D Secure systems.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design new features to advance card services, driving product expansion and operational efficiency.
• Create comprehensive and well-organized documentation tailored for development teams.
• Architect and enhance APIs and system integrations from the ground up.
• Develop new service offerings and improve existing ones to meet business needs.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors for seamless integration efforts.
• Own the entire lifecycle of tasks from business request to production deployment.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to discuss and optimize processes.
• Assign work items to developers and quality assurance personnel using tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Drive the release process and coordinate deployments.
• Continuously monitor service performance post-release and manage incidents in live environments.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a System Analyst or Technical Product Manager, preferably in fintech or banking sectors.
• Proven background working with payment services or related systems.
• Strong understanding of the interactions between acquirers, issuers, and payment networks.
• Expertise in microservice architecture and overall system design principles.
• Hands-on experience designing APIs and building integrations from scratch.
• Advanced skills in SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
• Experience investigating and resolving production incidents effectively.
• Proactive approach with the ability to propose and execute process enhancements.
