The company creates datasets from the ground up, sources and manages subject-matter experts who assess model outputs, and runs the workflow through its own platform, Label Studio, an open-source data labeling and evaluation tool used by more than 1 million practitioners globally.

HumanSignal focuses on complex delivery environments such as real-world data collection, multimodal pipelines, and workflows with multiple steps. Its enterprise platform supports advanced ML and AI teams in operating their own data factories, while the services team extends capacity when internal teams need extra support.

This role is suited to someone who wants to contribute directly to how next-generation AI products are built.

What you'll be doing

• Convert customer goals into clear delivery plans with milestones, dependencies, critical path, DRIs, and defined completion criteria, while adjusting scope as projects change.
• Take ownership of delivery performance from start to finish by keeping status updates sharp, flagging risks early, and removing blockers so engineering teams can stay focused.
• Lead disciplined operating rhythms that keep teams aligned and accountable to outcomes, with clear owners and due dates for every action item.
• Create and maintain repeatable delivery systems such as a single source of truth, action logs, risk trackers, and playbooks that can be reused across the organization.
• Prepare frequent customer communications, often daily, and handle both live and asynchronous reporting to preserve stakeholder trust.
• Spot opportunities for automation and develop AI-enabled workflows that reduce manual effort across engagements.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Go-To-Market teams to continuously improve delivery quality.

Required qualifications

• At least 8 years of experience in program management, technical program management, or delivery operations.
• Proven experience leading complex enterprise programs involving multiple stakeholders.
• A metrics-oriented approach, including weekly review of delivery KPIs such as milestone timeliness, blocker age, and schedule variance.
• Strong decision-making skills when information is incomplete and situations are moving quickly.
• Comfortable communicating with senior engineers and executive-level customer stakeholders.

Preferred background

• Prior exposure to enterprise AI or machine learning implementations.
• Knowledge of enterprise IT procurement and security review processes.
• Experience in startup operations, management consulting, or forward-deployed engineering.
• Ability to design lightweight operating systems for distributed teams.
