Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled video editor who excels at transforming raw footage into engaging, story-driven videos that captivate audiences. The ideal candidate understands how to pace videos, evoke emotion, and maintain viewer interest from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit videos tailored for social media, digital campaigns, and online platforms.
- Transform concepts into clear, captivating visual narratives.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team throughout the video production process, from initial ideas to final output.
- Incorporate appropriate sound elements, transitions, and color enhancements to enrich videos.
- Consistently meet delivery deadlines, even under tight schedules.
Requirements
- Proven video editing experience backed by a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools.
- Excellent sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling skills.
- Understanding of effective techniques for online short-form content.
- Attention to detail in aspects of color grading, pacing, and sound mixing.
- Awareness of current trends and technology in video production and editing.
- Capability to contribute to scriptwriting and creative briefs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with motion graphics software.
- Knowledge of content analytics, including insight into what drives video performance beyond appearance.
