About the Role

The Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand team at a leading global airline is responsible for effectively communicating the organization's values and objectives both internally and externally. The Video Editor plays a key role in producing high-quality video content in-house, managing the entire editing process from assembling footage to final distribution. This position works closely with internal stakeholders and the Visual Services team to create authentic brand and marketing assets that align with established brand guidelines and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand project briefs, define post-production scope, devise creative solutions, and deliver video content punctually while maintaining consistent quality and alignment with brand standards.
• Support studio operations by assisting with camera setup, audio, and lighting for corporate leadership messages, internal communication videos, and senior management interviews.
• Maintain and organize the corporate asset library, ensuring efficient archiving, cataloging, and retrieval of video files for distribution and future reference.
• Manage editing platform maintenance including weekly backups and timely renewal of paid software subscriptions with managerial approval.
• Research and propose upgrades or replacement of production and post-production hardware and software based on comparative technical assessments conforming to broadcast industry standards.
• Execute post-production tasks including selecting optimal footage, crafting timelines, adding visual effects and motion graphics, synchronizing audio, color grading, mixing, and finalizing projects for broadcast and online dissemination.
• Contribute to establishing best practices in video production by creating standard templates and ensuring compliance with brand identity elements, typography, graphics, and usage of b-roll footage customized for various broadcasting and digital platforms.
• Deliver production and post-production services to meet requirements from multiple business units including Global Brand, Marketing Operations, Sponsorship, Events, Corporate Affairs, and Social Media.
• Assist the Visual Services Manager in managing costs and enhancing productivity by effectively utilizing company resources.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams and external production partners to ensure high service levels and competitive value aligned with business goals.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Film Production or a related discipline.
• More than 5 years of experience as a Video Editor within a professional post-production studio environment.
• Proficiency in visual media editing software including Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with a strong technical understanding of video formats and media types suited for online and social media channels.
• Hands-on experience operating filming equipment such as broadcast cameras, studio lighting setups, and sound recording devices.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, uphold quality standards, and meet tight deadlines consistently.
• Thorough knowledge of the video production process to establish and enforce professional guidelines and brand compliance.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects independently while prioritizing tasks within tight schedules.
• A portfolio or demo reel showcasing creative and technical video editing and recording expertise.
