Warehouse Supervisor

About the Role

Step into a pivotal leadership position as a Warehouse Supervisor at a dynamic Brisbane-based company. This is a permanent role for 12 months, focused on managing warehouse operations while leading a dedicated team in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment. The position is day shift, five days a week, with starting times between 7am and 8am.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and guide a team comprising approximately 15 members, including Warehouse Team Leaders.
• Oversee daily warehouse functions such as receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods.
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and relevant documentation to ensure traceability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promote best practices, and foster a culture of safety.
• Operate forklifts when necessary, including experience or training on high reach forklifts.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in warehouse management, logistics, or related operational roles.
• Prior experience within the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities to inspire and develop team members.
• Sound understanding of inventory control systems, warehouse procedures, and safety standards.
• Possession of a valid forklift licence; training on high reach forklifts can be provided.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms, preferably QAD, is a plus but not mandatory.
