Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counsellor to provide personalized guidance to students, helping them navigate their educational and career paths effectively. The position is based onsite at our Anna Nagar, Chennai office with a full-time schedule of six working days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive one-on-one counselling sessions to thoroughly understand students' objectives, strengths, and preferences.
• Develop customized mentoring plans that align with the students' academic goals and career ambitions.
• Guide students meticulously through the admission and counselling process.
• Advise on suitable colleges, courses, and educational pathways tailored to each student's profile.
• Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with students to ensure clarity and sustained engagement.
• Monitor student progress and counselling success metrics to consistently enhance guidance quality and conversion rates.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to provide students with accurate information and seamless support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Possession of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• Experience ranging from 2 to 4 years in sales, counselling, or client-facing roles is preferred.
• Fluent communication skills in both English and Tamil are mandatory.
• Possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication talents.
• Customer service or counselling experience will be considered advantageous.
• Knowledge of NEET UG/PG admission procedures is a valuable benefit.
• Proficient in MS Excel, research methodologies, and presentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range from INR 27,000 to 30,000 per month.
• Total CTC up to INR 4,00,000 fixed plus INR 3,00,000 variable annually.
