Job Overview
We are seeking an Accountant skilled in Tally Prime to join our team at P S Patil & Co in Mumbai. The role requires managing various accounting entries and ensuring accurate financial records in adherence to standard accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and record financial transactions including purchases, sales, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and ledger account verifications to ensure correctness and consistency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Practical experience with Tally Prime accounting software.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel functions including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas.
- Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Effective communication abilities and strong organizational skills to handle daily accounting tasks efficiently.
Compensation
The position offers a monthly salary in the range of 12,000 to 18,000 INR.
