Architect CAD & Construction Documentation

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Architect specializing in CAD and Construction Documentation to join our team on a contract basis. This fully remote role focuses on creating detailed architectural drawings and documentation essential for engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise floor plans and elevation drawings tailored to project specifications.
• Generate detailed CAD drawings suitable for architectural and engineering uses.
• Accurately prepare Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) callouts for manufacturing documentation.
• Create and annotate multi-page electrical schematics adhering to industry standards.
• Design and review printed circuit board (PCB) layouts ensuring manufacturability and optimal function.
• Engage in collaborative communication exchanges to clarify requirements and resolve technical queries.
• Produce comprehensive documentation packages aligned with project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• At least three years of recent hands-on experience in architectural CAD and construction documentation fields.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD software and PCB layout design tools widely used in the industry.
• Demonstrated capability to create and interpret GD&T callouts along with complex schematic diagrams.
• Skilled in developing multi-sheet electrical schematics and integrating PCB layouts into construction projects.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational skills for managing extensive document sets.
• Excellent English communication capabilities, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in remote and multidisciplinary teams is advantageous.
