Associate Project Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Technical Project Manager to join a fast-growing video technology firm specializing in interactive digital experiences across web, mobile, and connected TV platforms. Reporting to an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager, this role offers the opportunity to build expertise in technical project delivery within the sports, entertainment, and media industries, with expectations to gradually manage complex projects and enterprise accounts independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Jira operations including managing tickets, updates, sprint progress, and project boards.
• Assist multiple Agile engineering teams in collaboration with a Senior Technical Project Manager.
• Keep project documentation, priority lists, and updates current using Confluence.
• Coordinate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and escalate blockers, dependencies, and delivery risks as necessary.
• Maintain project and sprint schedules along with internal status reporting.
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination among Engineering, Product, Design, Quality Assurance, and DevOps teams.
• Build understanding of technical specifications, API integrations, and platform architecture.
• Serve as a dependable communication liaison between internal stakeholders.
• Progressively assume responsibility for more complex product and customer project deliveries.

Candidate Profile

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in project management, coordination, or delivery management.
• Background working in SaaS, technology, or digital product environments.
• Practical expertise with Jira and Confluence tools.
• Sound knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based software development.
• Highly organized with sharp attention to detail.
• Confidence to pursue action items, question unclear communications, and maintain project momentum.
• Proactive, accountable attitude with openness to coaching.
• Strong communication abilities suited for technical team collaboration.
• Genuine interest in APIs, cloud platforms, software architectures, and digital product ecosystems.
• Aspirations to independently lead technical product delivery efforts.

Preferred Experience

Experience related to video streaming, connected TV, mobile apps, interactive media, or enterprise integration projects is valued, as is exposure to startup or rapidly scaling SaaS companies.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full-time position offering remote work flexibility with an annual compensation potential of up to $125,000. The role is designed for candidates eager to develop under expert mentorship and take on genuine responsibility in technical project delivery.
