Role Summary
The Business Operations Coordinator's core duty is to oversee and manage business activities to ensure alignment with customer expectations and corporate objectives. This position operates fully remotely, with specific location-related details to be addressed during interviews.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize safety by promoting adherence to safe work practices among all personnel.
- Support Service Managers in daily operations coordination and management tasks.
- Oversee, regulate, and direct business operations to fulfill client and company goals.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and management to guarantee smooth service delivery.
- Coordinate project tasks to ensure completion within budget and schedule.
- Maintain compliance with established company policies and standards.
- Develop and sustain strong client relationships through ongoing communication.
- Lead and document internal project meetings involving multiple stakeholders.
- Schedule, attend, and record minutes for external project meetings.
- Manage and resolve multiple high-priority project issues promptly.
- Assess current operational workflows and recommend strategic improvements.
- Provide guidance to internal teams to meet or exceed performance targets.
- Identify and swiftly address operational process challenges.
- Follow standardized operating procedures to optimize business functions.
- Maintain precise and accessible operational documentation.
- Perform essential administrative responsibilities efficiently.
- Establish and organize project filing systems.
- Code and verify vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Prepare and document additional work orders.
- Communicate change orders to subcontractors and follow up accordingly.
- Draft subcontracts and purchase orders.
- Assist Service Managers with monthly profitability assessments and collaborate with teams to achieve financial goals.
- Monitor CMMS work orders, validate completeness, and approve or reject them for invoicing.
- Generate invoices for project manager review and approval before submission.
- Evaluate and promote process enhancements, engage with new technologies, and coordinate implementation strategies with management.
- Support and embed diversity and inclusion values as integral to the SOLV Energy culture.

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing contracts and change orders.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Fundamental understanding of ERP systems.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiate tasks proactively.
- Encourage teamwork and collaboration among diverse groups.
- Experience in a multidisciplinary employee-owned company is desirable.
- Strong communication skills enabling clear translation of vision into actionable plans.
