Cisco ACI Engineer

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Cisco Data Center Networking and Cisco ACI, to join our team onsite in Doha, Qatar. This role entails managing large-scale enterprise network infrastructure projects and contributing to automation and monitoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate Cisco ACI architecture, including APIC functionality and policy-based networking mechanisms.
• Design and implement ACI logical entities such as L3Out configurations, contracts, and service graphs essential for network segmentation and traffic flow control.
• Configure and maintain Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches within data center leaf-spine fabric designs.
• Deploy and oversee enterprise-grade load balancing using F5 ADC (LTM, APM) along with security solutions involving Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point firewalls.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and management using tools like Terraform and Ansible, integrating REST APIs to streamline network operations.
• Employ DevOps methodologies, maintain Git-based CI/CD pipelines, and support continuous integration workflows for network automation and provisioning.
• Administer Linux systems relevant to infrastructure operations and maintain protocols such as TCP/IP and DNS.
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for network health visualization.
• Support on-premise to cloud migration efforts ensuring a smooth transition of network services and configurations.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years' hands-on experience working with Cisco Data Center Networking environments.
• Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture including APIC management and configuring policy-based networking.
• Experienced in designing and deploying logical ACI constructs like L3Out, contracts, and service graphs.
• Proficient with enterprise load balancing technologies and security firewalls such as F5 ADC, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Check Point.
• Strong skills in infrastructure automation and scripting, particularly with Terraform, Ansible, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Git-based continuous integration and deployment workflows.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication capabilities are essential.
