Cleaning Specialist

Overview

The Spotless Squad Ltd is recruiting an experienced Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Specialist for shift-based work across client sites in London. The position centres on weekly deep-clean services for commercial kitchens, with a strong focus on canopy and extraction filter cleaning, floor hygiene, and strict adherence to TR19® standards along with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weekly deep-cleaning visits at commercial kitchen locations assigned to you.
• Remove grease and clean extraction canopy filters in line with TR19® guidance.
• Wash, sanitise, and maintain kitchen floors and work surfaces to a high standard.
• Consistently apply safe working methods and follow all health and safety procedures.
• Escalate repair needs, faults, or compliance-related concerns to management.
• Look after cleaning tools, equipment, and PPE so they remain in good condition.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in commercial kitchen cleaning or domestic cleaning is preferred.
• Basic familiarity with TR19® standards and workplace health and safety practices is expected; training will be provided.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK.
• You should be dependable and open to working flexible shifts.
• Students are eligible to apply.

Desirable

• A full UK driving licence is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
