The Contingent Labour Office (CLO) partners with the business to expedite and streamline external resource engagement, balancing commercial needs and risk mitigation. This is achieved by leveraging internal workforce experts, offering trusted advisory to innovate solutions, and delivering a customer-focused experience through collaborative relationships with Hiring Managers.
This position allows virtual work from anywhere in Canada with occasional office presence required.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist Hiring Managers in onboarding, managing, renewing, and offboarding external resources across Canada, serving thousands of resources annually from individual contractors to large organizations.
- Enhance CLO operational excellence by improving workflows, technologies, and documentation.
- Engage as a subject-matter expert to promote the CLO brand with a customer-first approach.
- Conduct intake discussions with senior leaders and provide training on vendor management systems.
- Gather and evaluate data for external resource onboarding including due diligence such as background checks and compliance verifications.
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders to keep them informed on case progress.
- Document case information accurately for reporting, auditing, and compliance purposes.
- Identify and escalate complex cases as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members and respond promptly to inquiries through shared mailboxes.
- Lead initiatives to improve internal processes, manage changes, and keep procedures, templates, and knowledge articles current.
- Educate various stakeholders including CLO, Procurement, HR, and offshore teams on updates and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of case management or related experience; familiarity with contingent workforce or staffing agencies is advantageous.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English; French bilingualism is preferred.
- Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders including senior management, contractors, and subject-matter experts.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills able to handle multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to deliver timely, high-quality service in fast-paced environments.
- Keen focus on continuous improvement with ability to conduct impact analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with vendor management systems like Beeline or Flextrack and ServiceNow is considered a plus.
- Post-secondary college or university degree in a relevant discipline.

This role requires fluency in English communication to work collaboratively. The offered salary range is $55,000 to $82,000 annually, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive rewards program.
