About the Role

This opportunity is for a Graduate or Early Career Data Analyst based in Guildford, England, working in a hybrid model with both office and home-based arrangements. The position involves joining a European-focused team dedicated to enhancing the understanding and management of supply chain performance. This is a practical data-driven role, integral to supporting decision-making processes across Finance, Technology, and Supply Chain departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and extract data from numerous internal and external sources.
• Convert and organize datasets into structured forms suitable for analysis.
• Validate data integrity and collaborate with stakeholders to address discrepancies.
• Manage and configure master data elements, including products, brands, suppliers, and locations.
• Investigate and supplement missing data attributes such as packaging size and manufacturer details.
• Perform data cleansing and quality checks to ensure dataset accuracy.
• Prepare data for reporting and financial analytics purposes.
• Develop and execute SQL-based reports to generate business insights.
• Work collaboratively with European teams from supply chain, finance, and technology sectors.

Candidate Profile

• Some experience with data in analytical or operational contexts, whether academic or professional.
• Proficiency in Excel, especially in managing sizeable datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL to support data extraction and report generation.
• Strong attention to detail with a systematic problem-solving mindset.
• Effective communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate across teams.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Competency in other European languages, with Spanish highly regarded.
• Experience handling data related to supply chain or procurement is advantageous.
