Role Overview

The Data Analyst role specializes in retail and e-commerce data analysis. You will support business expansion by extracting valuable insights from sales, customer, and operational data. Your efforts will directly influence strategic decisions and business improvements.

Key Duties

• Gather, cleanse, and examine data related to retail and online commerce.
• Create dashboards and reports for tracking sales metrics, inventory levels, and customer performance indicators.
• Detect patterns, consumer behavior, and prospective business opportunities through detailed data scrutiny.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as marketing, sales, operations, and other business units.
• Maintain quality, consistency, and accuracy in data and reporting processes.
• Communicate analytical results and propose recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a bachelor's degree in fields such as Data Science, IT, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related disciplines.
• Possesses a minimum of two years’ experience as a Data Analyst within retail, e-commerce, or similar sectors.
• Proficient in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization platforms.
• Experienced in analyzing sales, customer, and operations data sets.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-resolution abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and customer metrics analysis.
• Basic skills in Python or R programming for analytical purposes.
• Experience handling large datasets and SQL database management.
• Certifications like Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Desktop Specialist, or Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate are advantageous.

Additional Information

Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
