Role Overview
The Director of Creator Operations will design and enhance the operational framework supporting our Creator Network ecosystem. This role involves close collaboration with creators, and video and social strategic operations teams to streamline workflows, speed up business processes, and convert ambitious creative ideas into scalable operational achievements. The position serves as a critical liaison between business strategy and daily execution, managing legal, financial, and cross-departmental partnerships to support rapid expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the lead operations contact for the Legal team, managing contract pipelines and expediting approval processes to timely close agreements with creators and other strategic partners.
- Manage all operational aspects related to podcast acquisitions and new creator-driven media projects, ensuring smooth evaluation, negotiation, onboarding, and integration.
- Collaborate with Finance, Production, Product, Legal, Sales, and Live Events teams to oversee workflow management, approval procedures, and remove barriers to advance team progress.
- Lead operational planning and execution for innovative B2C and B2B creator-focused revenue programs.
- Develop, standardize, and scale backend processes to effectively support an expanding network of prominent creators and original intellectual properties.
Candidate Profile
- Bring 8 to 10 years of experience in business operations or development, preferably within the creator economy, digital media, or talent management sectors.
- Excel in structuring and scaling complex systems under ambiguous and fast-moving conditions.
- Demonstrate expertise in managing intricate contract lifecycles and collaborating closely with legal and executive teams.
- Show entrepreneurial motivation or experience launching digital content programs and managing new business verticals.
- Possess strong cross-functional communication and influencing skills to resolve obstacles and accelerate projects.
Compensation and Additional Information
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is between 160000 and 165000 USD. Forbes regularly reviews compensation and may adjust the salary range or job responsibilities as business needs evolve. Candidates are encouraged to check for updates periodically.
