Educational Counselor

About the Role

Indo European is inviting applications for the position of Education Counselor at their Ludhiana branch. This role demands a well-seasoned professional with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Study Abroad sector. The counselor will support students in choosing the best overseas education pathways tailored to their academic backgrounds and career goals.

Primary Duties

• Advise students on global education opportunities relevant to their profiles and aspirations.
• Assist students in selecting the best countries, universities, and courses for their educational pursuits.
• Manage end-to-end admission processes including applications, paperwork, and regular follow-ups.
• Offer precise information regarding university prerequisites, scholarships, and visa procedures.
• Transform inquiries into confirmed enrollments through effective counseling and persistent follow-ups.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with both students and parents.
• Liaise with admissions and visa departments to ensure seamless processing.
• Maintain and regularly update student records within the CRM system.
• Meet monthly targets related to admissions and enrollments.
• Keep abreast of international education trends, university news, and immigration regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the Study Abroad industry.
• Exceptional communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of overseas admissions and student visa procedures.
• Demonstrable success in achieving sales and admission objectives.
• Competency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented setting.

• Location: Ludhiana, Punjab, India
• Working Schedule: Monday to Saturday (6 days weekly)
• Off Day: Sunday
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
