Role Overview
As a Talent Partner based in India, you will play a vital role within the Human Resources team, working alongside the Talent Partner Head, business leaders, employees, and other HR functions such as International HR, Immigration, and Payroll. Your focus will be on executing the talent agenda of designated business units through activities including employee engagement, HR operations management, employee life-cycle processes, and routine HR support for assigned groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HR support to managers and associates at levels up to manager by facilitating both strategic and tactical HR initiatives within assigned units.
- Build and strengthen productive working relationships between leadership and employees, addressing HR and business-related concerns effectively.
- Assist in retention and engagement initiatives such as retention proposals, associate discussions, town halls, pulse surveys, manager huddles, and virtual engagement events.
- Support HR operations by assisting associates with location or country-specific activities and coordinating day-to-day HR services.
- Contribute to manager enablement and career development efforts by supporting management programs, facilitating career conversations, reporting, and subsequent follow-up actions.
- Manage employee life-cycle activities including merit increases, incentive administration, allowances, and grievance handling related to yearly employee reviews.
- Respond promptly to employee queries and issues related to ongoing processes, projects, initiatives, and life-cycle events with clear coordination and objectivity.

Working Model and Culture
This role requires onsite presence five days a week at any of Cognizant's or client’s offices located in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, or Pune.
