Facade Manager

About the Role

We are recruiting a Façade Manager for a leading Tier 1 Main Building Contractor engaged on a major industrial development in South Kildare. This project will span approximately three years and requires an individual with demonstrable experience in façade management within Ireland or the UK construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage façade-related aspects in collaboration with the main building contractor ensuring smooth execution.
• Oversee curtain walling installations and provide evidence of past projects involving this scope of work.
• Ensure subcontractors comply fully with specifications and contractual obligations pertaining to façade works.
• Review designs, perform quality control inspections on installation works, and supervise fire compartmentalisation measures.
• Participate actively in design team meetings to align on project requirements.
• Monitor and administrate scaffolding arrangements to maintain safe and efficient site operations.
• Collaborate with scaffold teams to secure advance progress and manage work zones and safety exclusions.
• Demonstrate prior experience with various access equipment and justify their usage for project needs.
• Maintain strong oversight on scheduling and materials management backed with examples from previous roles.
• Uphold stringent health and safety standards including conducting safe start briefings, toolbox talks, and ongoing site safety monitoring.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range: €75,000 to €85,000.
• Provision of a company vehicle or travel allowance.
