Role Overview
We are seeking a Strategic Project Lead with deep expertise in Finance to join our team on a remote, flexible schedule basis (10-40 hours per week). The position offers an annual compensation ranging from $400,000 to $550,000. The successful candidate will take full ownership of high-impact projects focused on finance data workflows at top AI Labs, overseeing teams and driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end responsibility for projects, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction among leading AI Lab clients.
- Oversee and enhance complex data pipelines specific to financial data, focusing on improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Lead and manage teams comprising Human Data Managers and Leads who supervise finance subject-matter experts.
- Directly engage and communicate with AI Labs on large-scale, impactful projects.
- Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to set, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for finance-driven operations.
- Deliver executive-level insights and updates regarding project status, data quality, and operational outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
- Outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, especially in working with senior finance experts.
- Commitment to intense work periods, including weekends, typical of fast-paced startup settings.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude with a strong startup mindset.
- Educational or professional background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or substantial experience working with financial systems and data.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing operational processes, leading extensive finance-centric data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
- Strong drive to innovate, identify inefficiencies, and rapidly implement solutions in high-pressure environments.
