Role Overview

As a Fleet Operations Driver, your key duty will be to keep city streets organized and free of clutter by effectively distributing e-scooters across Dortmund. Responsibilities include ensuring e-scooters are charged, safe to ride, rebalancing misplaced scooters, and transporting damaged ones to the warehouse for repairs. Your work will be instrumental in delivering a seamless and safe transportation experience for users.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive vans to collect and deploy e-scooters or swap batteries efficiently.
• Park e-scooters tidily to maintain clear sidewalks and streets.
• Locate lost e-scooters, assess their condition, and either return them to the warehouse or redeploy them within the city.
• Conduct minor on-the-spot repairs to increase fleet availability.
• Support warehouse operations as needed alongside the Operations team.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a valid EU B driving license and be proficient with manual transmission vehicles.
• Reliable and skilled driver with strong knowledge of local routes; previous professional driving experience is a plus.
• Possess a proactive mindset and demonstrate ownership and problem-solving ability through hands-on work.
• Good English communication skills and familiarity with smartphones and mechanical tools.
