Role overview

This Chennai-based opening is for an enterprise billing support specialist focused on high-value account issues, contract interpretation, and financial operations governance. The position calls for strong ownership of complex billing matters in large enterprise environments, along with clear communication at executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of high-value billing disputes for enterprise customers.
• Review custom contracts and negotiated commercial terms to support accurate billing decisions.
• Work across quote-to-cash processes and identify issues that affect revenue flow.
• Apply advanced FinOps knowledge in large, multi-account environments.
• Maintain strong governance, compliance, and approval controls in all financial workflows.
• Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and customers at an executive level.
• Investigate complex billing anomalies and flag potential risk exposure early.
• Handle account situations involving exposure of up to million-dollar scale.
• Document findings, actions, and decisions clearly for ongoing reference and audit readiness.

Requirements

• 4 to 8 years of relevant professional experience is expected.
• Education should include a B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization.
• Additional preferred qualification includes a Bachelor’s degree in IT with an MBA in Finance.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FCP) certification is required/preferred as listed.
• Strong background in enterprise billing, strategic finance, or revenue operations for 3 to 5 years.
• Good understanding of enterprise contracts, pricing structures, and billing investigation.
• Experience with governance, compliance, and financial approval discipline.
• Ability to communicate confidently at CEFR B2 level or above.

Additional information

This opportunity is for the TCS Chennai drive scheduled on 9-Jul-26 from 10 AM to 1 PM. The role focuses on enterprise billing dispute ownership, interpretation of enterprise contracts, quote-to-cash workflows, advanced FinOps practices, governance and compliance, executive communication, advanced billing investigation, risk detection, and documentation.
